Pay: $23 to $26 DOE

We are seeking skilled carpenters. This position is responsible for the construction of the teak deck sections and trim work for superyachts, boatyards, cruise ships and more.

Responsibilities:

• Using a work order, be able to select the proper size, amount and grade of teak wood.
• Using templates, the teak is measured, cut and assembled using a variety of power tools, including: table saws, planers, circular saws, miter saws, belt sanders, levels, measurers and other hand tools.
• Combine panels of teak battens that have been attached together on the underside and sealed with caulk.
• Trim the panels to precise measurements to the pattern of the deck.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role within the marine industry.
• Proficiency in ready blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Be able to operate all hand, portable power and fixed woodworking power tools.
• Pass drug screen and background check.
