Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position serving elementary students within a special education cooperative in Kansas. This role primarily supports students across two school districts, with flexibility regarding full-time or part-time hours. The position offers a dynamic caseload and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the school community.

Location Options:

• Emporia School District, Emporia, KS
• Morris County School District, Council Grove, KS

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students identified with communication disorders.
• Manage caseload ranging from approximately 10-12 students on 1 day per week to 50-55 students across a 5-day week.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and document student outcomes in compliance with district and state requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain up-to-date records of services provided.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations, particularly in special education, is highly valued.
• Flexibility to work onsite and accommodate varied schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
