As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. This role involves driving responsibilities and requires you to remain visible throughout your patrols, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter prohibited items and/or individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of patrols and observations.
• Communicate and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and site-specific protocols while carrying a firearm during assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
