Job Title: Production Oversight Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Oversight Manager to lead our dairy production processes. The role involves managing the entire production cycle from milk reception to packaging while ensuring the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end dairy production processes from milk reception to packaging.
• Monitor daily output to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control protocols.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including FDA and USDA standards, as well as internal standards.
• Supervise and train production staff to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste.
• Maintain accurate production records and KPIs.
• Prepare performance reports for senior management.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in food or dairy manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• Ability to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Work Environment

This position is located in a dairy processing facility, where you will be working in an environment focused on food production. Employees should be comfortable working around food products and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chambersburg, PA

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
