Job Summary:
The role of the Physical Therapist Aide is to work closely with our experienced physical therapy team, gaining hands-on experience and advancing their career in the healthcare field. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a career in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or other related healthcare professions. With the guidance of our licensed therapists, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient care and facilitating clinic operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the physical therapy team to prepare treatment areas for patient therapy sessions.
  • Escort patients to and from treatment areas, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Assist in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by licensed therapists.
  • Manage basic administrative tasks, including appointment scheduling, maintaining patient records, and handling documentation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment, promoting a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Ensure overall facility cleanliness, including offices, restrooms, gym, break room, and waiting area.
  • Foster effective communication and patient flow among therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families, showing empathy and professionalism at all times.
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and professional guidelines, prioritizing patient confidentiality in all aspects.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous professional development and learning within the physical therapy field.
