Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated entry-level PCB Design Technician who’s eager to apply their skills in printed circuit board (PCB) design and layout. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with design software, solving technical challenges, and supporting engineers in getting projects across the finish line. You’ll be hands-on with industry-standard tools like Cadence (or similar PCB/CAD software), and you’ll have the chance to grow your technical skills in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
Use PCB design software (Cadence, OrCAD, Altium, or similar) to create, update, and manage circuit board layouts.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate documentation and smooth design handoffs.
Perform routine tasks such as updating schematics, organizing files, and reporting progress.
Assist with design support and occasional test work as needed.
Gain exposure to real-world design projects that directly impact production and performance.
What We’re Looking For
Familiarity with PCB design software (Cadence preferred, but OrCAD, Altium, Mentor Graphics, KiCad, etc. are great too).
Strong attention to detail and interest in electronics design.
Ability to work independently at a desk on software-driven tasks.
Solid communication and organizational skills.
No degree required — hands-on training, coursework, or project experience is valued.
Nice to Have
Experience with Eagle Test systems or other test hardware/software.
Exposure to both hardware and software environments (but software is the main need).
