We would love to have you join us as a part-time HR & Compensation Consultant!

What You'll Do

We are looking for an experienced HR and Compensation guru that loves all things compensation, human capital, employee experience, and who understands small business. This role will ramp up to an average of 30 hours per week (but could be more or less) with a main focus in both strategic and transactional HR management with a heavier focus on compensation. You may be involved in projects that include the following:

  • Revamping or creating a total rewards program
  • Creating compensation plans, policies, philosophies and structures including pay bands/grades, career paths, administrative guidelines and more!
  • Conducting market rate benchmarking assessments and pay equity audits
  • Designing and implementing a sales incentive or employee bonus plan
  • Coaching a client on navigating a sticky employee relations process
  • Crafting culture guidebooks and employee handbooks
  • Conducting HR effectiveness assessments
  • Facilitating organizational design or succession planning workshops
  • Supporting a client through a merger or acquisition
  • Training leaders on effective performance management tactics

What You'll Bring

  • 7-10 years of experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner in a small to mid-sized company, with a focus and experience in compensation.
  • Knowledge of general employment laws, regulations, policies, procedures, etc.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification with broad-based HR generalist and strong compensation experience with CCP designation strongly preferred.
  • We are looking for experienced and forward-thinking leaders who know compensation, culture, compliance, and everything in between.
  • Fluent in English (speaking & writing). Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desired.
  • Passion for pouring into our clients and helping them strengthen their people programs and outcomes. Your time management, communication and organization skills are top-notch, and you will be an amazing ambassador for the CPG brand.
  • We are also looking for a consultant who resides within 30 minutes of downtown GR for the convenience of being onsite with our clients regularly and gathering for our quarterly team meetings.
  • True passion for human resources and business strategy while bringing fun to your work. Even on trying days, you are adaptable, encouraging and find the silver lining. Our team is collaborative, engaged and won't tolerate uncool HR.
