A part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought for a K-12 educational setting in Bangor, ME. This position involves collaborating with a public school system on a contract basis for the next school year, offering flexible hours with the potential for increased workload based on budget considerations.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
Developing and implementing positive behavioral support plans tailored to individual student needs.
Providing consultation and collaboration with Day Treatment program providers to align behavioral interventions and promote consistency across settings.
Ideal candidates will possess:
Current BCBA certification with experience in school-based behavioral services.
Proficiency in conducting FBAs and designing effective positive behavior support plans.
Strong communication skills to effectively consult with multidisciplinary teams and external program providers.
Ability to work independently within a part-time schedule, ranging from approximately 8 to 16 hours per week.
