Job Purpose: Caterpillar is looking for Keller & Arlington ISD high school students to get on-the-job experience. We want to give students opportunities to build upon their academic knowledge and apply it in a corporate environment. Opportunities are available in the following areas: Accounting Human Resources Talent Acquisition Information Technology (Cybersecurity) Risk and Compliance (Electrification and Energy Solutions) Marketing Sales Purchasing/Procurement Minimum Requirements: Must have a cumulative 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale as reflected on the official transcript (no rounding). Must be 16 years of age at the time of application. A full-time student currently enrolled as a senior in high school. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be a student from Keller Independent School District or Arlington Independent School District Texas In addition to the minimum requirements, students should be familiar with or have a desire in learning one or more of the following skills and abilities: Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong organization and time management skills Outstanding interrelations skills Passion for learning and meeting new people Respectfulness, honesty, integrity, and flexibility Abilities: Manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines Work efficiently both in a team setting and independently Resolve issues in a dynamic manner Enter data into a computer quickly and accurately Think analytically Research topics and translate complex terms into common language Work quickly to learn and process information Work independently and efficiently in a team setting Technical Knowledge: Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Sharepoint Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and database tools such as SQL, Python and/or other Visualization tools are a plus Additional Details: On-site (6-12 hours/week) One opening in Accounting located on-site at the Fort Worth SPM facility All other opportunities are on-site in Irving, Texas Relocation assistance is not offered for this position Summary Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.50 Intern Hour Rate: An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
